Hi, I’m Carré.

I’m an indie rock musician who performs under the moniker Queen Kwong. I’m also a writer, a millennial, and an overall uncomfortable time.

Historical Hysteria is my substack where I dump all of my unfiltered thoughts. Mostly (but not exclusively) about being a woman in the music industry. You’ll also find memoir, poetry, and random tidbits.

I’m a musician and a writer; hence, I’m not used to getting paid for my time or work. It would be nice though… Also, as a paid subscriber, you will get extra posts and stuff like exclusive previews of new songs, BTS shenanigans, and works in progress.
